Catching the Bus
To catch the bus to school you will need an Opal card to pay for the trip.
For more information about Opal Cards available for School Students and how to apply for a School travel pass (Student Opal Card) and if you are eligible please visit the Transport for NSW website.
Please make sure all your details are up to date with the school. If the school records do not match what you provide in your application at Transport for NSW the application will not be accepted, so please make sure all details are up to date with the school.

Morning Buses
There are two public buses that students may catch to get to school. The bus stop is out of the front of the school on Baden Street. Their Route numbers are:

Catching a Train
The closest train station to Blaxland Public School is Blaxland Train Station.

If you have a smartphone, you can also view the location of your school bus in real time using a mobile app. Transport for NSW has a list of recomened Transport apps to use on their website based on your device type or platform.

Driving and parking
The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.
When driving and parking near our school, please:
- ensure you park safely in school zones
- follow speed signs
- do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school
- follow kiss and drop and bus zone times
Parking on school grounds
A small visitor carpark is available on school grounds via Baden Place for parents, carers and visitors to the school. There is also a kiss and drop zone in the roundabout at the front of the school on Baden Place with limited street parking available.
